Prof. C.J. Okongwu

Prof. C.J. Okongwu is the current Head of the Department of International Law & Jurisprudence. A seasoned legal scholar with a deep understanding of international legal systems, Prof. Okongwu has made significant contributions to the study and practice of international law and legal theory.

His academic leadership fosters a dynamic environment for students to explore global legal frameworks, human rights, and jurisprudential analysis. Prof. Okongwu remains dedicated to cultivating legal minds prepared for international advocacy, diplomacy, and scholarly excellence.

Established in 2005, our department has grown into a cornerstone of legal excellence, producing distinguished legal professionals including thirteen professors. We combine rigorous scholarship with practical legal training to shape global legal minds.
